Dr. Alan Tenn​enberg, MD, MPH


Dr. Alan Tennenberg Trained as an infectious diseases physician, Dr. Alan Tennenberg brings over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, clinical medicine, public health, and academia to the position of Chief Medical Officer of Johnson & Johnson Global Public Health. In this role he is responsible for building strategic relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders in government, academia, multi-lateral institutions, and non-governmental organizations around the world​. As founder and chair of the Private Sector Round Table (PSRT), Alan is a leading figure in facilitating private sector engagement to advance the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) and international efforts to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats.  In January 2021, Alan was appointed Platform Fellow for Health and Healthcare at the World Economic Forum (WEF). During this 18-month appointment, he will build upon the impactful partnership he has forged over the past several years with the Forum and drive forward critical initiatives on pandemic response and preparedness, helping to shape the post-COVID global public health architecture.​
