During the webinar Shayne Brannman, Program Director of ASPR TRACIE, gave an update of recent and upcoming resources. Dr. Ron Miller, Senior Advisor of the Office of Resource Management, provided an update to the U.S. Stockpiling Plan Project. CDR Eva McLanahan, Senior Health Advisor and ASPR liaison to the CDC, gave an update on the Monkeypox Response efforts.​

Kacey Wulff, the Chief of Staff and Deputy Assistant Secretary of ASPR, and Meg Sullivan, the Acting Chief Medical Officer of ASPR, provided opening remarks; Jennifer Hannah provided several ASPR programmatic updates; Michael Fucci, the Management Analyst of the Policy Division Office of Strategy, Policy, Planning, and Requirements (SPPR) of ASPR provided an overview of the National Health Security Strategy Federal Register Notice Public Comment Period; Kate Gorbach from Data and Evaluation Support for the National Health Care Preparedness Programs Branch provided a summary of the FY 2020 end-of-year data analysis; Jennifer Hannah concluded the webinar with closing remarks.

2022 Hospital Association Recipient Webinars

During this meeting, Shayne Brannman and Dr. John Hick provided an update and demonstration of the new Disaster Available Supplies in Hospitals (DASH) tool. Afterwards, Captain Duane Wagner, the Region 5 Field Project Officer, led this month’s Hospital Association regional panel where panelists from Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin shared experiences, challenges, and lessons learned regarding pediatric surge during COVID-19.
