ASPR's Response to Hurricane Ian

As part of the whole-of-government response to Hurricane Ian, ASPR has deployed teams of medical professionals – doctors, nurses, paramedics, and pharmacists – and emergency responders to help local hospitals and communities respond to health needs in the wake of the storm.

We have more than 1​50 medical professionals, incident management personnel, and HHS health emergency experts as well as supplies deployed in and around the storm’s impact zones – surging support to where it’s needed most. These professionals are experts in augmenting, bolstering, and providing relief to hospitals and other healthcare facilities in need.
