Description of Project: This contract was awarded to expand the production of the low dead-space (LDS) safety syringes and needles.

Unique Impact: LDS syringes maximize dose efficiency and allow for additional vaccinations to be obtained from vials. The utilization of LDS syringes will allow access to 20 percent more COVID-19 vaccine doses compared to non-LDS syringes.
