Supply Chain

Supply Chain concept

CIP identifies and engages federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial (FLSTT) government and cross-industry private sector partners to ensure that supply chain risk management is an integral component of Healthcare and Public Health (HPH) Sector security and resilience planning and preparedness, response, and mitigation activities. The division collaborates with a robust network of partners to identify supply chain risks and integrate mitigation strategies into local, regional and national preparedness efforts to avoid HPH Sector critical infrastructure shortfalls.

Using the Critical Infrastructure Partnership Advisory Council (CIPAC) framework, CIP carries out multiple activities through HPH Sector supply chain task groups. CIP gathers input from across industry and government stakeholders to develop strategies and conduct studies to inform and support changes in policies affecting HPH Sector supply chains. CIP leverages the same CIPAC framework to structure information-sharing around HPH Sector supply chain threats, mitigation strategies, and opportunities for enhancing supply chain resilience.
