[The 50 second video begins with sound effects as the logo of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is shown first followed by the logo of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness Response (ASPR) captioned "Saving Lives. Protecting Americans." The video continues with comments starting with Kenneth Burchell, Branch Chief - Special Operations, HHS/ASPR  followed by Gregory Smith, Team Lead - TacMed, HHS/ASPR at a NDMS training center where training exercises are underway in the background.]

Kenneth Burchell, Branch Chief-Operations, ASPR/HHS: We have the responsibility to make sure all our personnel and teams are prepared to handle any medical emergency they're faced with. To that end, we take every possible opportunity to review and rehearse the latest procedures and techniques to provide the best possible medical care.

Gregory Smith, Team Lead - TacMed, ASPR/HHS: At this station they are re-familiarizing themselves with the equipment found in the NDMS cache. In this particular case they are focusing on the fundamentals of hemorrhage control. In the unlikely event something happens, we want our teams to be ready for anything.

[The video concludes with a non-descript background followed by the Department of Health and Human Services logo, caption and voice-over narrative, “Produced at U.S. taxpayer expense by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.”]
