Gary Disbrow: We are excited to announce BARDA Ventures, an effort to better ensure that a continuous pipeline of the most innovative technologies are available the moment our nation needs them, to prepare for and respond to pandemics and other public health emergencies. At BARDA, we have a track record of success making available new vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics –and other medical countermeasures, through public-private partnerships.

Our experience –including the response to the COVID-19 pandemic -highlights the need for a robust medical countermeasure pipeline that brings forward the most promising technologies during AND in between emergencies. BARDA Ventures enables us to partner with the investment community to support innovative technologies to solve health security challenges today and in the future.
