How long have you been in science and technology?
Ever since my first chemistry class in high school, I’ve been hooked on science. I’ve been with ASPR for four years.

Do you have a specialty or focus area?
Infectious Disease

What motivated you to take this career path? 
I love discovery, learning how things work, and taking that knowledge to discover something new.

What specialty training or education prepared you for this career path?
My favorite thing about this career is there’s always more to learn! My training taught me how to keep learning and adapt.

What would you say to a woman who is considering a career in science and technology?
It’s a wonderful path, with so many opportunities to make a real impact. Find your passion and build your support system to keep you moving toward your goals.
