Dr. Tammy Spain, is a Senior Project Manager and Team Lead with The FlexPro Group. A molecular biologist with over 20 years of experience in leading teams in the development of biological defense technologies and pharmaceuticals, her experience has been primarily in the private sector with companies that include Draper Laboratory, Catalent Pharma Solutions, and Janssen. Dr. Spain led teams in the development of three biological detection systems that have been field tested at the West Desert Test Center, Dugway Proving Ground and worked to establish devices with cross-over applications in the military, space and medicine. Since 2016, Dr. Spain has been involved in the translation of promising drug candidates to marketable dosage forms leading to successful launches of drug products such as Vyndaqel, Phenylephrine Ophthalmologic Solutions, and Advil Liqui-Gel formulations in 5 different countries. Dr. Spain has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and she currently lives in Leesburg, FL.
